Lenskart, India’s leading eyewear destination, has partnered with Lowe Lintas to provide creative thrust to propel the brand further after a multi-agency pitch. The appointment of Lowe Lintas comes on the back of its experience and understanding of the e-com category with brands such as Swiggy, Flipkart, PhonePe, etc. all of whom have a high share of voice in their respective categories. The brand plans to launch a new range of fashion frames for women shortly.
Speaking about the appointment of Lowe Lintas, Peyush Bansal, CEO, Lenskart said “At Lenskart we live and breathe disruption. The journey to choose a spectacle for oneself should be an easy and seamless one. And we are here to break the notion of spectacles being boring or serious, however one looks at it. We are all excited and we are looking forward to this partnership to bear fruitful results and unparalleled success”.
As per Lenskart estimates, there are 550 million people in the country who need reading glasses but only 170 million wear them. To this end, Lenskart disrupted the market early and brought about a sea change in the way people bought eye-wear. It made it not just affordable, but leveraged technology through virtual trials and physically through Home Eye Check Ups.
Hari Krishnan, President, Lowe Lintas commented “Lenskart has triggered a revolution in the eyewear category with its unique innovations and we look forward to matching up to their ingenuity. This is going to be an exciting journey for both Lenskart and us, and we look forward to building a legacy for the brand for years to come.”
The account will be handled out of Lowe Lintas Bangalore, and the scope entails building online and offline brand campaigns for Lenskart.
